After earning advanced degrees in languages and literature from Yale and the Sorbonne and honing my industry skills at a leading Parisian translation agency, I decided to pursue my passion for writing and intercultural communications as an independent translator and copywriter. Whether I'm working on a novel or a press release, a corporate magazine, or a journal article, I make every word count and aim to reach people in the target language with a text that reads like an original. 

 

I work exclusively from French to English, or directly in English for copywriting, and over the years I have come to specailize in several key industries in which France is a world leader: luxury goods, beauty, textiles and fashion, tourism, fine dining, art, and literature. I am committed to working closely with all of my clients to ensure their communications documents convey the essence of their brand, product, event or book—and the celebrated French touch—in flawless, easy-to-read English.

 

With my home office located in the suburbs of Paris, I'm more than happy to come meet with you before and/or during projects for briefs and to work out any issues that may arise along the way. Good communication between translator and client is crucial to obtaining effective, well-written communications documents.
